Eligibility Information
Eligible employees may participate in our Medical and Dental
insurance plans.
Full-time employees may enroll in either a single, two person or a family contract after a 90 day waiting period following hire. The open enrollment period is September.
Medical Insurance
Jack Byrne Ford pays the first $420.00 of the cost of your medical
insurance per month.

Upon termination, you may be entitled to continuation or conversion of the group medical insurance plan in accordance with the terms of the policy and/or applicable state law. You are responsible for payment of the entire premium after termination. For further information see COBRA in the Employee Handbook.
Please note that you have the option to have your health related payroll deductions made on a before-tax basis, which saves you an average 25% off the "take home pay" cost of these deductions due to your savings on State and Federal Income taxes and Social Security / Medicare taxes.
Dental Insurance
Jack Byrne Ford pays the cost of the employees’ single dental insurance.
Dependent coverage and upgrades are paid by the employee

Group Life Insurance
Jack Byrne Ford provides each full time employee with life insurance in the amount of $10,000.00. When an employee reaches 65 the original benefit is reduced to 65% and at 70 it is reduced to 50%.
